Host a Garnas Equine Clinic at your Facility Today!**

I. Introduction to Equine Bodywork

A FUN and interactive Clinic for you and your horse!

Teachings include:

  • Basic landmark anatomy

  • Massage Techniques/Strokes

  • Acupressure theory & Basic Acu-points

  • Stretches for Injury Prevention, Maintenance, & increased flexibility

  • Saddle-fitting assistance & techniques

  • Horse & Rider Assessment

Cost: $150.00 per person

II. Acupressure Treatments for Specific Conditions

A compilation of some basic acupressure points used to assist your horse.

Some standard treatments can include, but are not limited to:

  • Arthritis

  • Colds or Coughs

  • Cribbing

  • Hoof Issues (Founder, Navicular)

  • Stifle, Hock, Shoulder Issues

If you wish your horse to attend this clinic and he has/had a medical issue recently, Garnas Equine will request time to consult with your veterinarian before accepting your request to attend. Lu reserves the right to refuse service to any participant. Withholding information will result in a refusal of service without a refund.  Although acupressure can be very helpful it is NOT a replacement for veterinary care.

Cost: $175.00 per person

III. Pre-Conditioning or Re-conditioning your horse

A great way to make sure you and your horse are ready for whatever the year might bring!

  • The importance of warm-up and cooling down

  • Exercise programs to condition your horse

  • “Flesh Assessment” – training your eyes and hands to find areas of concern

  • Saddle-Fitting, Tack assessment

  • Stretches for maintenance and flexibility

Cost: $150.00 per person

Clinics are usually a full day, although partial day clinics covering more in-depth training on specific topics can be arranged. Participants will leave with handouts and the opportunity to discounted follow-up sessions with the Professional Practitioner.

Garnas Equine believes in establishing and maintaining strong cooperative connections with the veterinary community and reserves the right to contact your veterinarian regarding your horse pre-clinic if necessary.

** A 10% clinic fee will be paid to organizers, plus free attendance for one horse & rider duo. Minimum participation and travel fee (if applicable) may apply.
